Three important events were organized at BARI, Chakwal on 29.03.2022 as
1. Visit of DG/Chief Scientist AARI, Faisalabad.
2. Spot Examination of Peas, Sarsoon and Taramera
3. National Olive Seminar
In spot examination Director Vegetable, Director Oil seed and scientist from various disciplines visited vegetable and oil seed crops. DG Research visited BARI fields and orchards and appreciated research and efforts of BARI team.
In National olive seminar Dr. Abid Mehmood (CEO PARB), Muhammad Nawaz Mekan (DG/Chief Scientist Research AARI), Dr. Zafar Qureshi (PD CEFORT), Muhammad Rafique Dogar (Director/Principal Scientist BARI), Olive stack holders, Scientist from AARI, BARI, SAWCRI participated in the event. In the seminar current status and future strategies of olive sector were presented. All the participants and Chief guest appreciated the event.
